Those who know Cuba only as Havana are overlooking some of the most beautiful cities, enchanting countryside, and distinctive cultural experiences on this largest of the Caribbean islands.

Join us on our newest Cuban adventure, as we begin in far southeastern Santiago de Cuba and make our way westward to Camaguey, almost half of the island.

Along the way, you’ll explore the narrow, history-haunted streets of four of the seven original Spanish–colonial villas, thrill to performances by musicians, dancers, and theater groups, mingle with artists in their studios, meet Cuban cowboys, and much, much more.

Explore historic Eastern Cuba, the site of the dawn of the New World and Columbus’ first landing in Baracoa on October 27, 1492, the original cross he planted can be seen in the church today.  Baracoa is also the first Spanish settlement on the island founded August 15, 1511.  Santiago has many important landmarks i.e. San Juan Hill, and Castro’s first attack at the Moncada Garrison.

Holguin is the fourth largest city, founded in 1545 and is called the “city of parks.”  Pirates burned Camaguey in 1528 and a new city was built in a labyrinth pattern inland to avoid future attacks. Each stop is rich in culture and history.

And to soothe your body and soul, you’ll spend a couple days surrounded by the tropical beauty of all-inclusive international resorts on the beach in Holguin.
Your people to people cultural exchange includes: · 8 nights of hotel stays in Cuba · 5 UNESCO World heritage sites visited · 22 meals (7 dinners, 7 lunches and 8 breakfasts) · Cuban guide, chauffeur and deluxe coach transportation within Cuba · Walking tours, meeting locals, museum admissions, musical eve · Visa fees, U.S. government paper work, medical insurance, airport transfers · $TBA double occupancy, single supplement $TBA
