Simply stated, I have yet to meet any tour guide who comes close to Mary’s magnetic personality, depth of knowledge, connections people – hotel concierges, taxi drivers, shopkeepers, artists, archaeologists, historians, or street people.

Our trip to Cuba with Mary Drobny was one of the highlights of my life. Mary made it the wonderful experience that it was. She made sure that we saw the cultural wonders of Havana, but she didn’t stop there. She introduced us to a priest who was doing heroic work with people with AIDS, she introduced us to artists, musicians, scuba divers, dancers, Santorian priests, restaurant owners, tour guides–all friends of hers.
